About Us

Northern Outreach and Clinical Services (NOCS) was founded in response to the growing need for innovative solutions required by children, youth, and adults with diverse needs in Northern Ontario. NOCS provides services to all age groups and strives to make a real difference in the lives of our learners, their families, and care teams.

At NOCS, we use the principles of learning to help individuals achieve meaningful change toward person-centred goals.  We promote practical ABA practices so that strategies are feasibly implemented (“doable”) and sustainable (“they last”) outside of treatment contexts.

Using evidence- and research-based approaches and a compassionate mindset to provide high-quality and effective behavior services that help improve social and communication skills, reduce challenging behaviours, and increase independence.

We believe in prioritizing collaboration and inclusivity in our practise, creating individualized plans that focus on each person's strengths, goals, and needs. Our ultimate goal is to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and help individuals reach their full potential.

To ensure that we deliver effective services, all of our behavior programs are overseen by a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with extensive experience in developing and implementing ABA plans. Our clinical team comprises Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), Supervising Therapists, ABA Therapists, and Registered Behaviour Technicians who are all trained to develop and implement ABA plans.
