At NOCS, we provide high-quality behaviour services for adults using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
ABA is a science-based approach that focuses on teaching individuals positive alternatives to challenging behaviours, enhancing their skill set, and promoting independence. Our services are designed to help individuals reach their full potential using a person-centred approach, meaning we work collaboratively with each individual to identify their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
Our services are delivered in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. We follow all Quality Assurance Measures and regulations put forth by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.
Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
We conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the function of challenging behavior and develop effective behaviour intervention plans that promote positive behaviour change.
Our team will develop behaviour support plans based on the results of the functional behaviour assessments to provide effective and individualized interventions.
Staff & Organizational
We provide staff and organizational training to promote the effective implementation of behavior intervention plans and enhance the skill set of the support team.
Monitoring & Evaluation
of Behavioural Interventions
We monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make necessary adjustments to promote positive behavior change and skill development.
We develop and implement individualized skill acquisition programs that focus on enhancing skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, and independent living.
Our team works one-on-one with clients to help them achieve their goals and targets set out in their treatment plan.
